Buffalo Bisons (9-12, 6th)

The Herd loss their 3rd game in the last 4 with a 0-4 loss to Rochester on Thursday.

At the Plate

Buffalo was unable to capitalize on their 4 hits and 4 walks. Alexi Casilla, Jesus Montero, David Adams, and Jio Mier collected the hits for the Herd.

On the Mound

Chris Leroux (L, 0-2) allowed 2 runs (one unearned run), gave up  one HR, struck out 5 and walked one while allowing 6 hits. Pat McCoy and Pat Venditte allowed a run each in relief.

Dunedin Blue Jays  (11-10, 3rd)

Falling to Tampa, 4-5, the D-Jays have loss 5 of 6 to the Yankees.

At the Plate

Dunedin scored 4 runs on 6 hits, while working 5 walks and striking out 9 times.

Ryan McBroom, Jason Leblebijian, and Derrick Loveless drove in the Blue Jays runs with Loveless knocking in 2. Richard Urena, Jonathan Davis, Loveless, David Harris and Leblebijian had hits in the loss.

Urena and Davis each had one stolen base.

On the Mound

Conner Greene (L, 1-2) allowed 2 home runs and allowed 5 runs on 10 hits. Matt Dermody, Bo Schultz and Tim Mayza provided 3.1IP of one hit, no run relief.

Lansing Lugnuts  (11-7, 3rd)

The Lugnuts swept Beloit, dominating the Snappers. Lansing outscored their opponent 13-1 over 3 games with a 6-1 win on Thursday.

 

At the Plate

Lansing scored 3 runs in the 3rd, a run in the 6th, and 2 in the 7th on 7 hits.

Only Lane Thomas and Justin Atkinson went hitless in the win. Leadoff man Andrew Guillotte continues to set the tone for the Lugnuts with a double, two walks, two runs and stolen base.

Juan Kelly and Ryan Hissey stay hot with 2-RBI’s each, but it was Lansing’s base running that won this game.

Despite not registering a hit, Lane Thomas scored two runs, worked a walk and stole two bases. Kelly and Almonte each had a stolen base and Gunnar Heidt swiped his 8th and 9th bases of the young season.

On the Mound

Sean Reid-Foley struck out 5, allowed one runs, but most importantly did not walk a batter.

Conor Fisk (W, 2-1) didn’t allow a run in his 5 innings in relief of SRF. Dan Lietz finished the game with a no-hit inning.
