This week included a Friday the 13th. Superstitious or not, the day always seems to just feature some wonkiness. The good news is that the Jays won against the Rangers last night with R.A. Dickey pitching a beautiful game that ended in a 5-0 shutout. The bad news is, Marco Estrada’s probably gonna need some new uniform pants…


The Graduate

Ace, Marcus Stroman, got special permission to travel to North Carolina between starts to attend his graduation ceremony. Stroman made lemonade after tearing his ACL during Spring Training last season and used the downtime during his recovery and rehab to take the last five classes he needed to complete his degree in Sociology from Duke University. You would think that Stroman got his degree in Business or Marketing as he continues to thoughtfully grow is HDMH (Height Doesn’t Measure Heart) brand. They’re on Twitter now @HDMHApparel and good news – t-shirts are coming soon!


Stroman isn’t the only player showing his love for his alma mater this week, Josh Donaldson gave Auburn University a little twitter love, too, retweeting this to followers.

When the guys landed in Texas they had a day off to kick back and relax. Apparently, some guys relaxed too much…


But that’s okay – Stroman seems to have found some friends to play with anyway.
