TORONTO BLUE JAYS SOCIAL MEDIA BUZZ: The Second (Canadian) City and Shopping with a Motley Crue

The Toronto Blue Jays finished their last West Coast road trip of the season in Seattle, feeling the support from fans across the country.

We scoured social media to bring you the best the internet has to offer with this collection of Blue Jays Social Media Buzz.

Jet City

When the Jays play Seattle some consider it almost another home game because the Canadian support comes out hard. And it did.

Roberto Osuna was feeling the Seattle vibes…

So was Marcus Stroman.

And one young fan worked really hard to get Kevin Pillar’s attention – and didn’t know if she had. Until he made it Twitter official.

Caps for Sale

Stroman and Josh Donaldson debuted lines of New Era caps last week, now it’s Jose Bautista’s turn…

The Caps officially hit the market September 26.

Foodie?

Jason Grilli is promoting a new meal – non-alcoholic beer and grilled cheese. Well, at least one of those items sounds tasty…

He was impressed by a new Bud Canada spot he previewed later though – so maybe there’s still hope…

Off Day Chill

You never know what’s going to happen when Marcus Stroman, Ryan Goins and Devon Travis hang out together on their off day – but that Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx was somehow involved is not even surprising at this point…

My guess is, the plan to create and distribute the t-shirt EVERYONE was talking about this week was perhaps in its infancy during this trip…

AWWWWWW!

And the nice guy award of the week goes to Dalton Pompey who helped SportsNet’s Hazel Mae, who has to find cubbys all over the ballpark to work in, out…

In the Spotlight

Jason Grilli sat down with SportsNet’s Hazel Mae for a multi-part interview. Get to know him a little better:

And if you missed this gem of a piece by Arden Zwelling on Grilli’s favourite backstop, Russell Martin, take the time to read it.

That’s just a taste of some of the moments in Blue Jays social media this past week! The guys take on the Orioles tonight at 7:07 p.m. #GoJaysGo
