TORONTO BLUE JAYS SOCIAL MEDIA BUZZ: Hair, Turkey and Hoodies

The Toronto Blue Jays give thanks, visit the salon, take in some sporting events and wish for spring to get here faster

We scoured social media to bring you the best the Internet has to offer in this collection of Toronto Blue Jays Social Media Buzz.

Giving Thanks

One of the benefits of being an American player on a Canadian team is that you get to celebrate two Thanksgivings. Or maybe that’s not such a benefit, according to Danny Barnes’ hashtag…

Jason Grilli celebrated his first Canadian Thanksgiving this season and since the Blue Jays picked up his option for 2017 – he’ll get at least another one in up north.

Marcus Stroman was his own kind of thankful – and his normal positive self, too.

Kevin Pillar went all Food Network for his Thanksgiving meal, deep-frying his turkey and everything.

She done.. beautifully done fried turkey

His entire spread looked fantastic – those marshmallows are browned to perfection on the sweet potatoes!

Game time! Happy thanksgiving y’all.. thankful for everything and everyone around me!! Love you all

Offseason Fun

Stroman is using his time during the offseason to reflect on his childhood – and do some deep listening…

His apparel brand, HDMH, is going gangbusters – they’re are rumored to be adding some cold weather gear in time for the holidays. He’s been giving Twitter followers some sneak peeks…

Josh Donaldson spent a little time in the hair salon dying his flowing tresses platinum – If he’s gonna rock the long hair, someone ought to tell him that you traditionally lighten up for summer and go darker in the winter.

Ryan Goins is not enjoying his college football anymore…

But Devon Travis is certainly enjoying his Cowboys (and his life)…

How bout them Cowboys?!? #JerrysWorld

Travis wasn’t the only one taking in some pro sports recently – Pillar ventured back to Toronto this week and took in a raptors game.

Thank you for the hospitality and making me feel back home! The city and fans warm welcome was overwhelming ????

Is It Time For Spring Training Yet?

Jason Grilli knows you’re missing baseball – so is he.

In the Spotlight

In case you’re missing the fabulous quirkiness that is Joe Biagini – there’s this:

That’s all from the Internets for this week – we’ll be back next week with more offseason antics from the Toronto Blue Jays!
