Buffalo Bisons (5-8)

 

Buffalo lost 6 to 3

 

 

The Bisons got RBI’s from Dalton Pompey and Danny Jansen.

 

Tim Mayza allowed 3 hits over 1.2IP and struck out 5.

 

Starter- Joe Biagini 5.1IP, 7H, 5R, 2BB, 2K on 99 pitches

 

L- Biagini (0-2, 5.17ERA)

 

Sunday, April 29th starting pitcher- Deck McGuire (1-1, 7.00 ERA)

 

Double-A

 

New Hampshire Fisher Cats (13-8)

 

Fisher Cats lost 10 to 6.

 

Guerrero had 3 hits and 2RBI and Connor Panas had a double and 2 RBI.

 

Jon Harris didn’t look good but Jose Fernandez, Dusty Isaacs, Danny Young and Andrew Case combined on 5.2 innings of 2-run relief.

L- Harris (1-1, 6.52 ERA)

D-Jays lost 2 to 1.

 

Eduard Pinto picked up the clubs only RBI and Alberto Mineo collected 2 hits.

 

Justin Dillon allowed one unearned run and Juliandry Higuera allowed a home run.

Lansing Lugnuts (15-7)

 

The Lugnuts won 13 to 5.

 

Only Matt Morgan went hitless for the Lugnuts, who scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning, 3 runs in the 3rd and 5th innings, 2 runs in the 7th inning, and a run in the 9th inning.

 

Matt Shannon threw 2.0IP of one-hit relief, shutting out the Whitecaps between the 6th and 7th innings.

The 6-foot-2 8th round pick is riding a 5 game hit streak, with 2 straight 2-hit games to up his batting average to .323.

 

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was playing 3rd and batting 3rd for the Fisher Cats. He went 3-for-4 with a run scored, a double, 2 RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. He is batting .373 with a .993 OPS, 8 doubles, and a league-leading 25 RBI.

 

Bo Bichette was batting 2nd and playing short. He went 1-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, a double, and a BB. Bichette is batting .298 and .372 OBP with 18 runs scored, and 5 doubles.
