The Toronto Blue Jays minor league system went 2 and 3 Tuesday, May 22nd. Dunedin lost both ends of the doubleheader and Lansing’s offense got shut down.

Bisons won 5 to 4.

Fisher Cats won 7 to 2.

Tuesday, May 22nd POD goes to Conor Fisk.

 

The 26 yr-old Fisk entered the game in the top of the 4th inning with the scored 4 to 2 Buffalo. He did not allow a hit over the next 4 innings.

 

The righty swingman committed a throwing error and a walk in the 5th but got Jose Marmolejos to ground into an inning twin killing to end the threat.

 

Fisk threw 31-of-50 pitches for strikes, getting 5 groundball outs and 1 flyball out.

 

The 6-foot-2 from Brown Deer , WI was promoted to Triple-A Buffalo from Double-A New Hampshire on May 8th. In 4 appearances and 9.1 IP, he has yet to allow a run. In his last 3 outings (6.0IP), Fisk has not allowed a hit, issuing just 2 walks.

 

Overall, Fisk has pitched 24.1 IP between Double-A and Triple-A without allowing an earned run while striking out 23 batters and issuing 8 walks.

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. picked up 2 singles, going 2-for-4 with a run scored, a walk, and a pair of strikeouts. Vladimir is batting .423 with .472 OBP, and 1.169 OPS.

 

Bo Bichette went hitless in 5 at-bats. Bo committed his 8th error. He is 0-for-9 over his last two games and is batting .186 in his past 10 games. Bichette is batting .250 with .333 OBP and .720 OPS.
