On Tuesday, May 29th, the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system won 3 games and lost 1 game.

Buffalo Bisons (23-20)

 

The Herd lost 7 to 5.

 

HR- Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (3)

 

Starter- Sean Reid-Foley 6.0IP, 5H, 3R, BB, 10K on 91 pitches

 

L-  Sam Moll (1-1, 5.30 ERA)

 

Wednesday, May 30th starting pitcher- Taylor Guerrieri (0-1, 5.25 ERA)

 

Double-A

 

New Hampshire Fisher Cats (32-18)

 

Fisher Cats won 11 to 2

 

HR- Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (11)

 

Starter- Josh DeGraaf 5.2IP, 5H, 2R, 8K, and 1-HRA on 86 pitches

Tuesday, May 29th POD goes to Andrew Guillotte

 

Andrew Guillotte played in LF and batted 9th in the Fisher Cats win. The 25-yr-old utilityman went 2-for-3 with 3 runs, 1-RBI, and walk.

The former 32nd round picked a triple, his first of 2018, in the 3rd inning. Bichette tied the game 2 to 2 driving him in with single to right field.

Guillotte grounded into a double play in the 4th inning but walked in the 6th inning and scoring on a Guerrero Jr. groundball.

 

The 5-foot-8 McNeese State alumni doubled to left field in his final at-bat. Guillotte’s double scored Harold Ramirez and scored on a Gunnar Heidt single to center field to extend the Fisher Cats lead to 11 to 2.

 

Andrew Guillotte is batting .167 over his last 10 games. Overall, he is slashing .246/.355/.289 with 4 doubles, a triple, and 14 RBI.

 

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. played 3rd base and batted 3rd, going 1-for-5 with a run scored, and 3-RBI. VGJ hit his 11th HR and now has 53 RBI.

 

Bo Bichette batted leadoff and DH’ed. He went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, 1-RBI, and two stolen bases. Bichette is batting .269 with 3-HR, 12 doubles, 3 triples, 23 RBI, and 14-SB.
