Saturday, June 2nd POD goes to T.J. Zeuch

 

The 6-foot-7 righty pitched to a 72 game score to pick up his 3rd win in a row with the Fisher Cats and 2nd complete game of the season. He threw 51 of his 80 pitches for strikes as he went the distance in New Hampshire’s 2nd game of a doubleheader.

 

Zeuch collected 8 groundball outs and 6 flyball outs and owns a 1.58 GO/AO in Double-A. Zeuch ended the 6th and 7th (the game) on groundball double plays. He also induced a Rumbling Ponies double play in the 2nd inning for three in the game.

 

The 2016 1st round pick walked a pair in the 1st inning with 2-outs but Tomas Nido bailed T.J. out with a flyball out to Connor Panas.

 

All 4 of T.J.’s strikeouts were on a swinging 3rd strike.

 

Since being called up to New Hampshire from Dunedin, T.J. Zeuch owns a 3 and 2 record with a 3.47 ERA over 36.1IP and 6 starts. Zeuch has walked 12 batters and struck out 21 while holding opponents to a .279 batting.

 

 

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-3 with 1-RBI and a walk in game 1. He played DH and went 1-for-4 in game 2. Vladdy is batting .409 with 1.138 OPS.

 

Bo Bichette went 1-for-4, with a run scored in game 1. Bo went 1-for-4 with a double and 1-RBI in game 2. Bichette is batting .271 with .769 OPS.
