Sunday, June 10th POD goes to Sean Reid-Foley.

 

As seen above, SRF started game 1 for Buffalo on Sunday. Sean’s picked up his 1st AAA win in his third start with Buffalo and it was easily his best performance for the Bisons.

 

Reid-Foley threw 67 of his 93 pitches for strikes. He got 6 groundball outs and 2 flyball outs.

 

The 22-yr-old picked up two strikes outs, both swinging, in the 1st inning and another swinging strikeout in the 2nd. He got his first called third strike in the 4th inning and picked up another in the 5th to go along with his 4th swinging strikeout.

 

The Jacksonville, FL native ran into some trouble in the 6th inning. Mike Papi leadoff with a double but got Eric Stamets to pop out to Tim Lopes and Drew Maggi to ground out to Lourdes Gurriel. Todd Hankins singled to left field, scoring Papi to make the score 4 to 1 for Buffalo. Tyler Naquin ended the inning with a swinging strike 3.

 

The former 2nd round pick finished strong by getting Yandy Diaz to swing at strike 3 and got Brandon Barnes to go down looking. SRF got Yu Chang to ground out to Tim Lopes to end the game.

 

SRF didn’t walk a batter for the first time since April 2nd. Ried-Foley’s Triple-A ERA dropped from 10.45 to 6.75. Overall, SRF has a record of 6-1 with 3.36 ERA while striking out 74 batters.

 

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr remains of the 7-day DL.

 

Bo Bichette played SS and batted 3rd for the Cats. Bo went 3-for-4 with a run scored, 3 stolen bases, 2-RBI, and a walk. Over the past 10 games, Bo is batting .361 with 5 runs scored, 4 runs batted in, and 3 stolen bases. For the season, Bichette bumped his batting average up to .285 with 15 doubles, 5 triples, 4 home run, 29 runs batted in, and 20 stolen bases.
