POD Honorable Mention:

Saturday, June 9th POD goes to Ryan Noda.

Noda continues to swing a hot bat in June. Heading into June, Lansing’s 1B/OF was batting just .203 but has bumped his batting average up to .235. Noda is riding an 8-game hit streak which he started May 29th.

Playing 1st base for the Lugs and batting 5th, Noda went 1-for-2 with a 2-run home run in the 6th inning. In typical Ryan Noda fashion, he also walked twice while striking out once. The home run was Noda’s 5th of the 2018 and he now has 25 RBI.

Noda has hit all 5 of his dingers over the past 7 game and is batting .382 over his past 10 games. On the season, the 2017 15th round pick has walked 54 times in 51 games and owns a .451 OBP while slugging .416 (1.313 in June).

Bo and Vlad Show

Vladimir Guerrero Jr was placed on the 7-day DL with knee soreness.

Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 with a strikeout and 5 LOB. Bo is batting .277 on the season
