Tuesday, June 26th POD goes to Jonathan Davis

The 5 foot-8 outfielder great season continues with a 1st inning double, his 21st double of the year, and advanced to 3rd on a fielding error by the center fielder. Davis scored his 61st run on a Bo Bichette sac fly.

The former 15th round selection of the 2013 Draft, Davis’ 2nd at-bat came in the 2nd inning with Connor Panas and Jon Berti on 2nd and 1st base. Davis connected on a 3-1 pitch for his 3rd home run of the year. New Hampshire 6 and Portland 0.

Davis singled in the 4th inning but was left stranded as Bo Bichette grounded out to end the inning.

With a double, an HR, and single Davis needed a triple to complete the cycle. Davis didn’t waste any time sending a 1-1 pitch in the 6th inning to right field for his 3rd triple. He scored his third run on a Cavan Biggio ground out to short. NH 10 and Portland 2.

The native of Camden, AR, grounded out leading off the 8th inning to end his day at the plate.

Overall, Jonathan Davis is batting .307 with 63 runs scored, 21 doubles, 3 triples, 3 HR, and 25 RBI. Davis has slowed down in the stolen base department but still has 18 on the season. Could this be the game that pushes him up to Triple-A????

Bo and Vlad Show

Vladimir Guerrero Jr remains of the 7-day DL

Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 with an RBI. Bo is batting .281 with 41 RBI.
