There were many other deserving candidates but these were the prospects which stood out the most in June. I’ve been very surprised with the amount of player movement throughout the entire system. It’s been very entertaining. The upper minors are flush with very good players. Despite the loss of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to a knee injury, the offensive contributions from other sources are very encouraging, notably, Kevin Smith and Ryan Noda.

As we enter the 4th month of the Minor League season many of us will be keeping a close eye on trade rumors. While it is unlikely many of Toronto’s minor league players will be moved, it is possible some will be included in trades or released to make room for players coming back. July has the potential to be a very busy month.

Lover of all things Toronto Blue Jays. Blue Jays MiLB fanatic. I strive for average while stumbling onto above average. Rogers isn’t cheap. Baseball is a business. Your right, but I’m more right.
