He walked and allowed a single to the first two batters he faced in the 1st inning. Sellers got out of the 2-on 2-out situation by striking out Brock Deatherage and getting Reynaldo Rivera and Jordan Pearce to fly out. Sellers had some control issues in the 3rd inning when he hit two batters but manage to get out of the inning holding onto a 2 to 0 lead.

Sellers surrendered a single in the 4th and 5th inning but finished his out with five scoreless innings.

Brody Rodning pitched two innings of no-hit relief with a 1-2-3 6th inning. Brody walked the leadoff man in the 7th inning and allowed him to advance to 2nd base on a wild pitch. Rodning got the next three batters to line out to 2nd base, flyout to right field, and line out to center field to end his day. Brody Rodning threw 16 of his 27 pitches for strikes and finished with 2 groundball outs and one fly ball out.

Kyle Weatherly allowed a one-out triple to the second batter he faced in the 8th inning; however, Weatherly got the next two batters to look at strike three and go down swinging to end the threat.
