Friday, July 26th POD goes to Harold Ramirez

The 23-yr-old outfielder played in RF and batted 5th for the Fisher Cats on Thursday. Ramirez collected 3 extra-base hits as he went 3-for-5 with a run scored, a run batted in, and a stolen base.

 

Ramirez’ first at-bat in the 2nd inning resulted in a fly out to right fielder. He picked up his 24th double in the 4th inning but did not score. Harold Ramirez hit his second double of the game in the 6th inning (#25) and scored on a Max Pentecost double to give the Fisher Cats a 3 to 2.

 

Harold Ramirez struck out leading off the 8th inning but hit his 3rd double (#26) in the 9th inning scoring Cavan Biggio from 1st base to push New Hampshire’s lead to 7-3.

 

The 5-foot-10 outfielder is batting .308 with 5-RBI and 2-SB over his last 10 games. He owns a triple slash of .307/.359/.445 with 37 runs, 26 doubles, and 6 HR while batting in 41 runs.

 

Cal Stevenson On-Base Streak

Cal Stevenson did not start on Thursday but came in as a pinch-runner, so the on-base is still intact.

 

Bo and Vlad Show

 

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a single and a home run (13), a solo shot, with a walk and just the one RBI. Vladdy is now batting .404 with 59 RBI.

 

Bo Bichette went 1-for-5 with a single. Bichette is batting .267 with 27 doubles, 6 triples, 8 HR, and 51 runs batted in.
