Friday, August 17th POD goes to Dwight Smith Jr.

The Bisons left fielder batted went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored, a double, a HR, 3-RBI, and a walk. Smith Jr hit his 6th dinger, a solo blast, over the wall in RF in the 1st inning. Bison 1 to 0.

 

 

Dwight Smith Jr. walked in the 3rd but didn’t score. He doubled (17) in the 5th and scored on Anthony Alford’s 18th double. Smith was at it again with a 2-run single in the 6th inning, scoring Darnell Sweeney and Tim Lopes. The Bisons up 6 to 0.

 

Over the past 10 games, Smith Jr is batting .375 with 8 runs scored, 3-HR, and 12-RBI. Overall, DSJ is batting .272 with 6HR, 17 doubles, and a triple while posting a .367 OBP and .420 SLG%.

 

Bo and Vlad Show

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. batted 3rd and played DH for the Bisons. He picked up a single and walked in 4 at-bats. Vladdy is batting .345 with Buffalo.

 

Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is batting .272.
