Tuesday, August 28th POD goes to Jon Berti

The 28-yr-old native of Troy, MI, is swinging the hottest bat in the system. Jon Berti hit for the cycle on Tuesday with a single in the 3rd inning, an RBI double (11) in the 5th inning, a triple (5) in the 7th inning, and a solo homer (7) in the 9th inning. A natural cycle.

For those that follow me, you already know that I have made respect for Jon Berti. For those that don’t know, I have made respect for Jon Berti. Berti is a guy that I feel should be in majors and probably would have gotten a chance had it not been for some concussion issues last couple seasons. Jon has had a healthy season in 2018 and produced for the Fisher Cats.

Jon is batting .298 with 49 runs, 11 doubles, 5 triples, 11 HR, 39 RBI, and 19 stolen bases.

Congrats on a great season Jonny Hustle

Bo and Vlad Show

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-3 with an RBI in game 1 of the Bisons double dip and was given the game off in game 2. Vladdy is batting .348 in Triple-A.

Bo Bichette had himself a game, going 3-for-5, with a pair runs scored, a pair of doubles, a home run, 3-RBI, and a stolen base. He now has 90 runs scored, 42 doubles, 11 home runs, 72 RBI, and 32 stolen bases as 20-yr-old in Double-A. Oh, he is also batting .385 over his last 10 games as the Fisher Cats get ready for the playoffs.
