The Fisher Cats fell 12 to 4, despite being out-hit by 15 to 14. The Fisher Cats went 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position and finished with 10 LOB.

The Nuts won 4 to 0, taking the rubber match to win the series. The Lugs pitchers held the Dragons to just 3 singles and 3 walks.

Saturday, April 20th POD goes to Nash Knight

 

Knight picked up 3 hits in 4 at-bats. The 26-yr-old hit his 1st home run of the 2019 and 2nd of his New Hampshire career. Knight played LF and batted 7th for the Cats.

 

Nash leadoff the 3rd inning with a single up the middle. He came around to scored the Fisher Cats first run on a Vinny Capra single to LF. In his next at-bat, Nash started off the 5th inning with a leadoff HR to left center field for the Cats 2nd run. With Espinal on 1st base and 2-outs in the 6th inning, Nash Knight hit a double (2) to right field to put runners on 2nd and 3rd.

 

Knight flew out in the 8th inning, his last at-bat, to lead off the bottom half of the frame. He is batting .195 with a pair of doubles, a HR, 2 RBI, 10 walks, 15 strikeouts, a is 2-for-4 in stolen bases. Knight owns a .353 OBP while splitting time between 3B and LF.

 

Cullen Large, Otto Lopez, and Alejandro Kirk On-Base Streak

Cullen Large did not start the game for the Dunedin Blue Jays but replaced Ryan Noda after he was hit by a pitch in the 4th inning. Large wasted little time extending his streak to 13 games with his 7th double in his first at-bat in the 5th inning to score Chavez Young to put the D-Jays up 4 to 3. Large scored 2 runs, as he went 1-for-2 with an RBI. He is batting .326 with a 1.062 OPS.

 

Otto Lopez went 1-for-3 with a double, and a pair of RBI. Lopez on-base streak is up to 13 games. Lopez is batting .367 with a .957 OPS.

 

Alejandro Kirk pushed his on-base streak to 13 games with a 1-for-3 game, collecting a single and walk. Kirk is batting .319 with a .973 OPS.
