The Bisons opened the series with Lehigh Valley with a 3 to 1 win. Buffalo got all their runs in the 4th inning.

The Cats lost 14 to 5. Patrick Murphy failed to get out of the 3rd inning, allowing 4 runs. The Fisher Cats allowed 3 more runs in the 5th and 5 runs in the 6th inning. The Flying Squirrels added one more run in the 7th inning. New Hampshire pitchers issued 8 walks.

Friday, June 7th POD goes to Jake Brodt
The Lugnuts 1st baseman continued his quietly productive 1st half with a 2-for-5, a double, 3 runs batted in, a pair of strikeouts, and a pair of stolen bases.
In the 5th inning, Brodt cashed Gabriel Moreno in from 2nd base with a double (10). Griffin Conine was thrown out at home plate attempting to score on the play. Jake Brodt hit an RBI single to RF to score Gabriel Moreno with the Lugnuts 4th run. Brodt stole 2nd (9). He struck out in his final at-bat.
Overall, he is batting .273 with 11 doubles, 2 triples, 8 HR, 34 RBI, 27/70 BB/K, and 9 stolen bases in 49 games.
Nash Knight batted 2nd and played 3B for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. The 26-yr-old out of Denton, TX went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI (15), and a walk. He walked in the 1st inning and doubled (10) in Chad Spanberger in the 5th inning. His double extended his hit streak to 13-games.
The Griffin Conine and Alejandro Kirk Show
Griffin Conine played in RF and batted 3rd for the Lugnuts. The 21-yr-old former 2nd round went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, a pair of walks, and a strikeout. He is batting .471 with a streak of four 2-hit games.
Alejandro Kirk played behind the plate and batted cleanup for the D-Jays. He went 0-for-4. Kirk has 3 hits in his past 5 games, going 3-for-19 but is still batting .324 over his last 10 games. The 20-yr-old’s is batting .333 with 14RBI, 9/10 BB/K in 22 games in the Florida State League.
