The Blue Jays minor league system went 1-for4. Jon Harris made a rehab start in Dunedin. David Phelps made a rehab start in Buffalo. Nate Pearson looked good in New Hampshire after looking ordinary in his last two scheduled 5IP starts.
Buffalo Bisons (27-34)
The Bisons lost 7 to 6 and remain 2nd last in the IL North. The Herd scored 1 run in the 2nd inning, 2 runs in the 6th, and 3 runs in the 7th inning but Lehigh scored a run in the 8th inning to tie the game and force extra innings. The IronPigs scored in the 11th inning for the win.

The Cats won 2 to 0, getting good starting pitching and relief. NH scored both runs in the 6th inning, after Pearson was out of the game, off Chad Spanberger‘s 16 double to score Forrest Wall and Vinny Capra.

The D-Jays welcomed Jon Harris for a rehab stint; unfortunately, the Marauders also welcomed Harris, very rudely. Bradenton scored 2 runs in each of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th innings while scoring 3 runs in the 2nd inning and 4 runs in the 7th inning.

The Buffalo Bisons’ catcher went 3-for-4 with a double, and 5 runs batted in. Batting 6th, McGuire hit a sac fly to score BillyMcKinney in the 2nd inning. He singled but did not score in the 4th inning. In the 6th inning, McGuire brought Anthony Alford home from 2nd base with an RBI single to LF.
Reese McGuire cleared the bases with a 3-run double in the 7th inning. Jonathan Davis, McKinney, and Patrick Kivlehan all came across home plate to give the Herd a 6 to5 lead. McGuire struck out in the 9th inning to end his day at the plate.
The 24-yr-old backstop has hits in his last 5 games and has reached base safely in 12 games. He’s raised his batting average from .221 to .254 during this period. Over the last 10 games, McGuire is batting .333 with 4 runs scored, a HR, 7RBI, 5 walks, 4 strikeouts, and 2 stolen bases.

Griffin Conine did not play, getting the day off The 21-yr-old former 2nd round is batting .436 with a 1.437OPS in 10 games.
Alejandro Kirk did not play. Kirk is batting .333 over his last 10 games and .346 in 23 games with the D-Jays. He has 11 doubles, 16RBI, 11/10 BB/K and an outstanding .921 OPS with Dunedin.
