Top Performers:

Player of the Day

Sunday, June 16th POD goes to Jordan Patterson

The 27-yr-old former 4th round selection collected three hits and three runs scored with a walk in four at-bats on Saturday. He topped that on Sunday. Patterson batted 7th and played 1st base for the Bisons.

Patterson struck out in the 2nd inning. He homered in the 3rd inning, scoring Richard Urena and Andy Burns pushing the Bisons lead to 7-1. In the 5th inning, Patterson went deep again, a 2-run shot to CF. Patterson finished his game off with an RBI sac fly in the 7th inning.

Patterson’s 2HR, 6RBI game pushed his batting average to .235 with 7HR, 9 doubles, and 23 RBI.

Hit Streak

Logan Warmoth and the D-Jays enjoyed an off day and resume play on Monday. His hit streak remains at 10-games. The former 2017 1st round selection is batting .371 over his last 10 games raising his batting average from .264 to .292. Overall, Logan owns a .380OBP, .803OPS with 7 doubles, a triple, 3HR, and 16RBI in 36 games. Warmoth spent some time on the IL between April 30th and May 23rd.

****update- Clearly, I was not paying near enough attention to the lineups this weekend. Our boy Logan was promoted to the Double-A, making his debut (0-for-4) on Friday. He had Saturday off but collected his first AA hit on Sunday; unfortunately, Warmoth’s hit streak and on-base streak came to an end with his o-fer in his debut. ****

The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show

Bo Bichette played SS and lead off for the Buffalo Bisons. Bo went 0-for-4 with a run scored and a strikeout. The 21-yr-old is batting .239 with a .725OPS, 6 doubles, a triple, 2HR, and 10RBI.

Griffin Conine played RF and batted 3rd for the Lugnuts.  Conine went o-for-3 with a run scored and a walk. Conine dropped his batting average to .353 with 29 strikeouts in 18 games.
