Saturday, June 22nd POD goes to Demi Orimoloye

 

The 22-yr-old outfielder batted .209 in April, and .169 in May. Through 14 games in June, he is batting .320. Prior to June, Demi had just one HR and he’s hit 3 in his last 7 games.

 

Demi Orimoloye put the D-Jays on the board in the 2nd inning with a long fly over the CF wall. In the 6th Orimoloye reached on a fielders choice, scoring Chavez Young in the process to give the D-Jays a 2 to 0 lead.

 

The D-Jays outfielder finished 1-for-3 with a run scored, a HR, and 2RBI. He is batting .220 with 7 doubles, a triple, and 4HR over 54 games. Over his last 10 games he is batting .342 with 3HR, 11RBI, 9 runs scored.

 

The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show

 

Bo Bichette played SS and batted leadoff for Bisons. He went 2-for-4 with a double and a strikeout. Bichette is now batting .256 with a .769OPS with 8 doubles, a triple, and 3HR with 15RBI.

 

Griffin Conine played RF and batted 3rd for the Lugnuts. Griffin went 1-for-3, with a walk, and a strikeout. The 21-yr-old outfielder is batting .347
