Okay friends, I am currently away until July 7th on vacation. The resort has WiFi but it can be a little unreliable. With that said, I’m not a 100% certain any MiLB recaps will be consistently completed during this time. I’ll do my best but vacation goes first…..haha.

Sunday, June 23rd POD goes to the Dunedin Blue Jays outfielders

 

Cal Stevenson collected three singles, driving in two runs and scoring two runs. He also walked once to push his OBP to .355. He is batting .385 over his last 10 games and owns a .270BA with 4 doubles, 4 triples, and 4 HRs in 61 games as a member of the D-Jays. Stevenson has walked 31 times while striking out 36 times. He’s scored 36 runs and driven 34.

 

Demi Orimoloye, like Stevenson, is swinging a hot bat. He went 2-for-5 with a triple, driving in 2 runs while stealing a base. He also struck out and was caught stealing. The 22-yr-old outfielder is batting .368 over his last 10 games raising his BA from .193 to .224.

 

Chavez Young was in CF and batting 3rd for the D-Jays. He collected three singles, scoring a run and driving in one run. The 21-yr-old has yet to put it together in the FSL but he’s been better in June with a .246BA, 3 doubles, and 2HRs. Overall, Young owns a .228BA with 27 runs, 9 doubles, a triple, 5 HRs, and 23RBI in 54 games.

 

The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show

 

Bo Bichette played SS and batted leadoff for Bisons. He went 4-for-5 with three runs scored, a double, an RBI, a strikeout, and an SB. Bichette is batting .395 over his last 10 games, pushing his batting average up to .286 with the Bisons. He now has 7 doubles, a triple, and 3HRs in 24 Triple-A games.

 

Griffin Conine played RF and batted 3rd for the Lugnuts. Griffin went 2-for-5, with a walk, and two strikeouts. The 21-yr-old outfielder is batting .337 but only .200 over his last 10 games. He’s walked 6 times and struck out 15 times during this time and owns a .415OBP and .663SLG in 22GP.
