Monday, June 24th POD goes to Jonathan Davis and Patrick Kivlehan

 

Davis played CF and batted 3rd for the Bisons. Jonathan Davis put the Herd on the board with a 2-run shot in the first inning. He walked and scored in the 3rd inning. Davis hit his 2nd homer of the day in the 6th with a 3 run shot. He went 2-for-4 with 3 runs scored, 2 HRs, 5 RBI, a walk, and two strikeouts. Davis is batting .270 with 10 doubles, 6HR, 17RBI, 26BB, 31K, and 5SB in 31GP.

 

Kivlehan played 1st base and batted clean up for the Herd. Patrick Kivlehan walked in the 1st inning but did not score. He homered in the 3rd inning to put Buffalo ahead 4 to 0. In the 6th inning, Kivlehan went back-to-back with Jonathan Davis for his 2nd HR of the game. He went 2-for-4 with two runs, two HRs, three RBI, BB, K. With two HR in the game, Kivlehan now has hit 16 HR while splitting time between AAA (Buffalo and Indianapolis) and AA. He owns a .299 batting average, 3 doubles, 9HR, 20 RBI, and 18 runs scored in 26 games with Buffalo

 

The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show

 

Bo Bichette played SS and batted leadoff for Bisons. Bo went 2-for-4 with 2 runs, an RBI, a walk, and two stolen bases. Bichette now has multi-hit games in 4 of the last 5 games. He is batting .357 over his last 10 games and .295 in 25 Triple-A games. He has 7 doubles, a triple, 3HRs, 17 runs scored, and 7SB.

 

Griffin Conine and Lugnuts had Monday off. Griffin is batting .337 but only .200 over his last 10 games. He’s walked 6 times and struck out 15 times during this time and owns a .415OBP and .663SLG in 22GP.
