Friday, June 28th POD goes to Hagen Danner

 

The 20-yr-old former 2nd round selection had his second two home run game of the 2019 season for the Lansing Lugnuts. Danner went deep in the 3rd and 4th innings for his 10th and 11th home runs of 2019. Both long balls were sent over the wall in left field and both were solo shots.

 

Danner also scored 4 runs and walked, going 2-for-2 to push his batting average to .181.

 

The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show

 

Bo Bichette was once again atop the Bisons batting order, playing SS. Bo went 1-for-4 with a walk and a pair of strikeouts. In 29 games with Buffalo, Bo Bichette owns a .287 batting average and a .818OPS.

 

Griffin Conine was moved down in the order to bat cleanup.  He manned RF for the Lugnuts and went 1-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts. His only hit was a 5th inning 2-out 2-run home run. Conine continues to bat over .300 with .309 batting average but he is batting just .171 over his last 10 games.
