Jays From the Couch is looking to add writers in an attempt to cover the Toronto Blue Jays from every angle! Join us today!

Are you a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays? Do you like to write? Do you always find yourself reading and commenting about Canada’s favorite team? Why not join the newest, growing site around? Jays From the Couch is looking to expand its roster of talented writers!

As a newer site in Blue Jays Land, we are looking for writers to voice their insight. We’re building off the success of the magical post season run of 2015. Never before has there been a more exciting time to talk about the Blue Jays! From bat flips to lineup construction, from bullpen miscues to approaches at the plate, from offseason moves to Spring Training battles, from game previews to recaps, Jays From the Couch is looking to cover everything…and then some.

We have seen significant growth in our readership since we launched on Jan 1, ’16. We’re proud to reach thousands of readers every day. We offer an exciting opportunity to take the 2016 season by force as the Blue Jays look to defend their American League East division title. Like a championship baseball team, Jays From the Couch knows the value of  putting talent on the field. If you have a passion for the Blue Jays and an ability to write, you just might be a great fit!

As the season progresses, we’re looking for writers to cover every angle of Canada’s only MLB team. Do you have an interest in the minor leagues? We’d love to hear from you. Do you have a unique perspective on hitting? We’d love to hear from you. Do you understand the mechanics of pitching? We’d love to hear from you? Are you a stat head? We’d love to hear from you.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • The content is pretty much up to you. We’re looking for our writers to bring their passion. We’re looking to cover every aspect of the Toronto Blue Jays. That means the minor leagues, trade impact, free agent signings, statistical analysis, game coverage, etc. We want it all! You’re only limited by your own mind.
  • While we’d like to have your voice heard as much as possible, we’d also need a minimum commitment of 4-5 pieces per month- or 1-2 per week.
  • This would be an unpaid position. We’re all just doing it for the love of our team, right? However, it is an opportunity to establish your voice among the many out there in a fresh, up and coming environment.

If you’re interested, we ask that you fill out the application below. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us on Twitter @JaysFromCouch or email:
