Toronto Blue Jays Audio: Whisper Songs #1

Jays From the Couch brings you our new audio program, Blue Jays Whisper Songs. The pilot episode features talk about PED suspensions.

We are introducing a new audio segment, here at JFtC. It will be an addition to the Jays Nest Podcast that you all know and love.

Blue Jays Whisper Songs will feature a short audio clip of musings, rantings, cheering, etc in a quick hit format. It is so named because, according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, “The Blue Jay vocalization most often considered a song is the “whisper song,” a soft, quiet conglomeration of clicks, chucks, whirrs, whines, liquid notes, and elements of other calls; a singing bout may last longer than 2 minutes.” That’s what we plan to bring you. A quick mix of our vocalizations about the Toronto Blue Jays.

Our first episode of Blue Jays Whisper Songs features a look at Chris Colabello’s 80 game PED suspension and bad defense.
