Well look who is in a 3-way tie for first place! The Buffalo Bisons continue to tear it up with their 5th win. They will look for the 4-game sweep over Syracuse on Sunday after Saturday’s 13-4 win.

At the Plate
The Bisons threw a 19 hit attack the Chiefs, scoring single runs in each of the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th innings. The Herd had a 4-run 7th and 5-run 9th to put the Chiefs to bed.
You are going to have some offensive hero with a 13-run attack; unfortunately, I don’t have time to cover all of them…so here we go
Lead-off man Dalton Pompey led the charge with 4 hits and 3-RBI. Joining Pompey with 3-RBI was Casey Kotchman, who also chipped in with the Bisons only HR of the day in the 6th.

Andy Burns had 3 hits, while Jesus Montero, Junior Lake, Tony Sanchez, and Alexi Casilla joined Kotchman with 2-hits.
On the Mound
Chris Leroux picked up his 4th win, allowing 3 runs over 6 innings.
Pat McCoy allowed one run in the 7th in his one inning of relief. Ben Rowen and Chad Girodo closed the game out with one shut out inning each.

Melky Mesa hit 2 home runs, a 2-run shot in the 1st and a solo shot in the 3rd, driving in 3 of the clubs 5 runs.
Roemon Fields, Matt Dean and Christian Lopes each had two hits, with Lopes driving in the clubs other run.
On the Mound
Casey Lawrence allowed 5 runs on 11 hits over 6 innings. He surrendered 2 home runs, while striking out 6.
Brady Dragmire pitched 2 shut out innings, needing just 14 pitches and inducing 5 ground balls.
Danny Barnes took the loss, surrendering a home run in the 10th.
