Tuesday, August 14th POD goes to Rowdy Tellez
The 23-yr-old Tellez had his second 2-HR game on Tuesday, going 3-for-5. Tellez grounded out in the 1st inning and popped out in the 5th inning.
Tellez hit his 12th HR over the RF wall in the 3rd inning after Vladimir Guerrero singled for a 2-run shot and a Bisons’ 4-1 lead. He doubled (21) and scored on an Anthony Alford double (17) in the 6th inning to give the Bisons an 11 to 2 lead. In his final at-bat, Tellez hit his second HR of the game in the 8th inning with 1-out and nobody on base, pushing Buffalo’s lead to 13 to 3.
Rowdy Tellez is batting .294 with 3-HR, 7-R, and 6-RBI over his last 10-games pumping his batting average to .274.
Bo and Vlad Show
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. walked and singled in 5 AB’s with two runs scored and two strikeouts. Vladdy is batting .372 with the Bisons.
Bo Bichette picked up a single in five at-bats. Bo is batting .278 with 80 runs, 35 doubles, 6 triples, 10 HR, and 65 RBI in 110 games.
