Player of the Day
Wednesday, July 24th POD goes to Jordan Patterson
The 27-yr-old played RF and batted 8th for the Bisons. He finished a single shy of hitting for the cycle striking out and grounding out in his first two at-bats. Patterson doubled (17) in the 6th inning to cut the Knights lead down to 4-2.
Patterson homered (13) to RF leading off the 8th inning to tie the game, 4-4. After Reese McGuire hit into a double play, Jordan Patterson stoked a triple (2) to gap in CF and scored on a Alen Hanson (3) double to extend the Herd’s lead to 8 to 4.
In 84 games, Jordan Patterson is batting .252 with a .777OPS. He has scored 54 runs and driven in 40 RBI while walking 20 times and striking out 102.
The Bo Bichette and Griffin Conine Show
Bo Bichette went hitless in five at-bats. He walked once and struck out twice. The 21-yr-old hot prospect is batting .244 with 3HR over his last 10 games. Overall, Bo owns a .288 BA with 15 doubles, 2 triples, 8 HR, and 14SB in 52 games.
Griffin Conine is having a hard time. The 22-yr-old is hitless in his last 4 games without a walk and racking up 12K’s. He’s watched his batting average drop from .324 to .282 while batting just .119 over his last 10 games. The league’s adjusted, now he’ll need to adjust. This will be interesting to watch as we enter the final month of the MiLB season.

Lover of all things Toronto Blue Jays. Blue Jays MiLB fanatic. I strive for average while stumbling onto above average. Rogers isn’t cheap. Baseball is a business. Your right, but I’m more right.
