Man, this 17-yr-old out of Santo Domingo, D.R. is having a week. Martinez played both ends of the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays doubleheader. He played SS in GM1 and DH in GM2 batting 3rd in both games.

GM1

Martinez hit a 6th inning 2-run home run over the LF wall. The homer broke a 2-2 tie and proved to be the winning blow. He finished 1-for-3 with a walk.

GM2

Orelvis was at it again in the 6th inning with a solo HR to LF. This long fly pulled the GCL Blue Jays to within one, 4-3. The young man finished 1-for-3 with two walks.
